Lodestar Europe exists because the gap between what Indian students are told about studying in Europe and what they actually find on arrival is too wide — and too expensive — to leave unaddressed.
Our Intent
Every year, thousands of Indian students apply to European master's programs through consultancies whose advisors have never set foot in the country they're recommending. Cover letters are written to a template. Universities are shortlisted from a spreadsheet that hasn't been updated in three years. Language coaching is sold as an upsell at €800. Students land in Munich or Stockholm or Delft and discover — often in their first month — that half of what they were told doesn't match the country they're now living in.
We built Lodestar Europe to close that gap.
We believe advice about a country should come from someone who lives in it. We believe a ten-university shortlist should be built from your profile, not from a partner-commission sheet. We believe language preparation is part of the journey, not a separate invoice. And we believe the cost of getting to Europe should not itself become a barrier to reaching Europe.
